~Horse riding
In the merindades, there is a great love of riding, and you can practice this sport in the paths and routes going through the different natural scenery of privileged places for this sport.
You can find exercise rings and riding school where you can also find basic services like horse training and different courses and walks.

~ Golf
In the small town of Villarías between Villarcayo and Medina de Pomar you can find Villarías Golf Club. It’s a golf course with nine holes, designed by the golf player Manuel Piñero, and a total of 2886 meters long. It is 100 percent integrated with the harmonious countryside, and has an excellent drainage system that permits the sport to be practiced all year round.

~Ski
You can practice alpine sky in the Lunada Sky Resort, close to the village of Espinosa de los Monteros. This ski resort has 7 runs. (3 green and 4 red), 7 ski-lifts, a 200 m difference in level and has capacity for 200 skiers per hour.

~Fishing
The house is in the Ninf@-Cality project which seeks to support tourism for fishing in rural areas. The visitors can enjoy fishing and the country’s natural resource of Smalls Rivers and fluvial areas of the Merindades. The house has guide books specializing in the region rivers and also a fishing guide service if the guests thus require.
